The Don Carlos Marbella is a five-star resort located in Elviria, on the Costa del Sol coastline, approximately fifteen minutes from the center of Marbella and Puerto Banús. Inaugurated in 1969, this historic establishment reopened in 2025 after a complete renovation led by Selenta Group. Its imposing architecture is surrounded by 20,000 m² of tropical gardens descending towards the beach and the Mediterranean Sea.

The new decor, designed by Jaime Beriestain, combines Mediterranean elegance, Andalusian influences, and natural materials such as wood, stone, and raffia. The establishment features 284 rooms and suites, complemented by 24 private residences, totaling 308 accommodations. The rooms prioritize soothing tones, natural light, and terraces opening onto the gardens or the sea, while the residences offer more space and privacy for families and longer stays.

Leisure facilities include several swimming pools, a spa with a hydrotherapy circuit, Natura Bissé treatments, indoor and outdoor fitness areas, and a dedicated kids’ club. The Rafa Nadal Tennis Center, the brand’s first center in Spain, boasts seven clay tennis courts, two padel courts with sea views, and programs inspired by the Rafa Nadal Academy methodology. The estate also provides access to Nikki Beach Marbella and the Lucía Summer Club.

Gastronomy is offered in several spaces with distinct atmospheres. Los Naranjos provides a bright Mediterranean experience, while Sol & Sombra favors Southern flavors by the pool. Break Point, located near the tennis center, serves light dishes, salads, bowls, and energizing drinks.
