The Sarena de Muro Resort Mallorca enjoys a privileged location on Mallorca’s north coast, with direct access to the long white-sand beach of Playa de Muro. The property also sits at the gateway to the S’Albufera Natural Park, the Balearics’ main wetland area and a refuge for many bird species. Following a complete renovation, it reopened under its current identity and joined the Destination by Hyatt collection in June 2025, marking the brand’s arrival in Mallorca.

The resort offers 184 rooms and suites decorated in a contemporary Mediterranean style. Sand, crystal-blue and pine-green tones directly echo the island’s landscapes, while local artworks and classic architecture preserve a distinct Mallorcan identity. All rooms feature a furnished balcony, and some offer partial or front-facing views of the Mediterranean. The most spacious suites measure around 80 to 86 m² and include a bedroom, a lounge and a private terrace.

Facilities include two outdoor pools, including a children’s pool, as well as a wooden walkway leading directly from the main pool to the beach. The Sarena Spa features a heated indoor pool with jets and a waterfall, a hammam, a sauna, and single or double treatment rooms. Treatments notably use natural products from the Spanish brand Arôms Natur. A 24-hour fitness centre, morning activities and the El Nido kids’ club complete the experience.

Gastronomy is overseen by Michelin-starred chef Andreu Genestra, the resort’s culinary director. Biniterra brings together flavours from the Levant, the Maghreb, Greece and the Iberian Peninsula around an open kitchen. Ópalo reinterprets Mallorcan cuisine with local, seasonal produce, while its lounge bar offers tapas, wines and cocktails. The Pool Club completes the offering with grilled meats, fish, rice dishes and light plates served by the water.
