Hassler Roma

The Hassler Roma occupies one of the most iconic locations in the Italian capital, at the top of the Spanish Steps, immediately adjacent to the Church of Trinità dei Monti. The establishment opened its doors in 1893, following the acquisition and transformation of several buildings by Swiss hotelier Alberto Hassler. Associated with the hotel since 1921, the Wirth family now ensures its continuity through Roberto Bucher and Veruschka Bucher Wirth. Its décor combines marble, woodwork, fabrics, chandeliers, antiques, and references to classic Roman elegance, while its upper floors offer particularly sweeping views over the rooftops, domes, and monuments of the Eternal City.

The main hotel currently comprises 82 rooms and suites, including 21 suites, all individually appointed in a style combining classic furniture, fine fabrics, marble bathrooms, and contemporary amenities. Several categories feature a balcony, terrace, separate sitting area, or views over Piazza di Spagna, Villa Medici, the gardens of Villa Borghese, and the historic center. The most prestigious accommodations include the Presidential Suites San Pietro and Trinità dei Monti, the Villa Medici Penthouse, and the spectacular Hassler Penthouse, accessible directly by elevator and extended by two panoramic terraces. Il Palazzetto, a separate residence located directly on the Spanish Steps, completes the offering with four intimate rooms.

The Amorvero wellness offering includes an equipped fitness room, sauna, steam bath, and a selection of personalized massages and treatments. A terrace allows guests to extend certain moments of relaxation overlooking the rooftops of Rome. The establishment has also announced the development of a new 800 m² spa as part of its 2026 program, designed to significantly enhance its relaxation facilities. The concierge, available 24 hours a day, can arrange private transfers, cultural tours, show tickets, family experiences, and personalized itineraries in Rome or its surroundings.

On the sixth floor, the panoramic restaurant Imàgo holds one Michelin star and offers the contemporary Italian cuisine of chef Andrea Antonini, accompanied by a cellar featuring more than 1,500 labels. Salone Eva, directed by executive chef Marcello Romano, serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, while the Palm Court allows dining in an indoor garden during the warmer months. Carmen’s Bar adopts a more intimate atmosphere inspired by classic bars, and the 7th Floor Terrace offers one of the most striking panoramas in Rome for a cocktail or light meal.
