The Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong rises 56 storeys above Pacific Place, in the central Admiralty district. Opened in 1991, this iconic hotel completed a major renovation in 2024, introducing contemporary interiors conceived in particular by Tristan Auer. Its atrium houses The Great Motherland of China, a monumental 50-metre silk mural created by forty Chinese artists.

The property offers 544 rooms and suites with views over Victoria Harbour, Kowloon, Victoria Peak or Hong Kong Park. Entry-level categories range from 41 to 44 m² and combine Asian inspiration, European furnishings and marble bathrooms. The most prestigious accommodations include the 210 m² Presidential Suite, the 222 m² Shangri-La Suite, and a collection of family rooms and suites with immersive-themed décor.

YUN WELLNESS brings together a spa, community spaces, a hair salon, a Technogym fitness room and a 28.5-metre heated outdoor pool. Programmes combine massages, facial and body treatments, physiotherapy, nutrition, and pre- or postnatal support in a personalised approach. This wellbeing-focused world is complemented by group classes and facilities designed for adults as well as families.

Dining is centred around eight restaurants and bars. Restaurant Petrus, set at the top of the tower, retains one Michelin star in 2026 for its contemporary French cuisine and features a cellar of more than 12,000 bottles, while Summer Palace also holds one star for its Cantonese cuisine. Ming Pavilion celebrates Fujian traditions, complemented by Nadaman, Sushi by Nadaman, Lobster Bar and Grill, cafe TOO and the Lobby Lounge.
