Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River
A contemporary urban resort on the Chao Phraya River.
An exceptional
escape
Why choose this journey
The Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok is ideal for travelers seeking the space and tranquility of a resort without leaving the capital. The gardens, pools, and spacious rooms offer a true escape from the urban bustle, while the river shuttle facilitates travel to Sathorn Pier and ICONSIAM. Couples will particularly appreciate the suites with terraces, the spa, and riverside dining, while the diversity of restaurants also makes it an excellent gastronomic destination. With two Michelin Keys and a second-place ranking in the World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025, the establishment is now among the global benchmarks for urban hospitality.
The Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River is located directly on the riverbank, in the creative Charoen Krung district. Opened in December 2020, it features horizontal architecture designed by Hamiltons International and interiors by Jean-Michel Gathy, organized around gardens, pools, and courtyards connected to the river. This design gives it more the atmosphere of a resort than a traditional urban hotel.
The establishment has 299 rooms and suites, including 282 rooms and 17 suites. The entry-level categories start at 50 sqm and combine high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary furniture, and spa-style bathrooms with deep soaking tubs. Some suites feature large private terraces, while the Riverfront Penthouse spans 450 sqm and can accommodate up to nine adults.
The Urban Wellness Centre spans 2,500 sqm and includes nine treatment rooms, two of which are for couples, and a private spa suite. Facilities combine a vitality pool, hammam, relaxation areas, meditation, Reiki, and recovery programs, complemented by several outdoor pools facing the Chao Phraya and a dedicated lap pool.
Gastronomy is one of the hotel’s major assets: Yu Ting Yuan celebrates Cantonese cuisine, Riva del Fiume offers artisanal pasta and Neapolitan pizzas, Brasserie Palmier specializes in French cuisine and seafood, while Chao Phraya Terrace reinterprets Thai cuisine cooked over charcoal. BKK Social Club completes the offering with a Latin American-inspired menu; in 2025, it ranked 19th among Asia’s 50 Best Bars and 49th worldwide.
