Why choose this journey
The Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi is ideal for travelers seeking a spectacular, contemporary, and exceptionally well-connected ultra-luxury experience. Its direct subway access facilitates travel within Tokyo, while its proximity to Tokyo Station simplifies Shinkansen departures to Kyoto, Osaka, or other regions of Japan. After a day in the capital's bustling districts, its Otemachi location offers a calmer atmosphere than Shinjuku or Shibuya. Couples will appreciate the night views, the spa, the ofuro baths, and the Michelin-starred gastronomy, while families can choose connecting rooms or two-bedroom suites. The panoramic pool is a rare advantage in central Tokyo. The hotel stands out above all for the consistency of its experience: spacious rooms, Four Seasons service, high-level dining, and panoramas present in almost every space. It is therefore an excellent option for an elegant stay combining sightseeing, relaxation, gastronomy, and rail travel.
The Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi occupies the top six floors of the Otemachi One Tower, a 39-story skyscraper overlooking the capital’s main financial district. Opened in September 2020, the hotel enjoys a remarkable location next to the Imperial Palace, with direct access to Otemachi subway station and five lines providing easy access to Tokyo’s various districts. Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal the Imperial Gardens, the skyline, and, on clear days, Mount Fuji.
The establishment features 170 rooms and 20 suites, designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, DENNISTON, and DESIGN STUDIO SPIN. The interiors combine contemporary lines, refined materials, works inspired by Japanese art, and large bathrooms with a spa-like atmosphere. Panoramic windows are a key feature in every accommodation, while certain categories offer connecting configurations or two-bedroom suites suitable for families. The Imperial Suite, located on the 38th floor, represents the most prestigious category.
The spa forms a true sanctuary in the sky with five treatment rooms, including a suite for couples, Japanese ofuro baths, and rituals inspired by local traditions. A 20-meter heated indoor pool, a vitality pool, mist chairs, and a 24-hour fitness center complete the facilities. All these amenities benefit from large windows opening onto Tokyo, transforming swimming, treatments, and workouts into panoramic experiences.
Dining is located on the 39th floor and is one of the hotel’s hallmarks. Est, led by Chef Guillaume Bracaval, offers contemporary French cuisine awarded one star in the 2026 Michelin Guide and largely crafted from Japanese products. PIGNETO celebrates the Italian cuisines of Sicily and Tuscany with an outdoor terrace facing the Imperial Gardens. The VIRTÙ bar combines Japanese techniques, vintage French spirits, and Art Deco decor, while The Lounge hosts afternoon teas and gourmet breaks with views of the city.
