Perched at approximately 2,000 metres altitude in the Al Hajar mountains, Alila Jabal Akhdar overlooks spectacular ravines and mineral landscapes at the heart of Oman’s “Green Mountain.” Built in local stone and inspired by ancient Omani forts, the resort blends remarkably into its surroundings and offers a rare sense of seclusion, approximately one hour from Nizwa.

The property features 86 suites and villas, all conceived around mountain views and a close relationship with the outdoors. Suites include private balconies or terraces, while the 140-m² Loft Suites are particularly suited to families. The spectacular 470-m² Jabal Villa adds two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchenette, expansive terrace and private pool facing the mountains.

Dining centres primarily on Juniper, whose local and international cuisine draws inspiration from the golden age of Arab gastronomy and seasonal regional produce.
