Casa Marina holds a special place in Key West’s history. Designed by architects Thomas Hastings and John M. Carrère, the building welcomed its first guests in 1920 and has since hosted presidents, celebrities, and dignitaries. After its tenure with Waldorf Astoria, it joined the Curio Collection in 2022 and underwent a significant renovation in 2023.

The 311 rooms and suites have been reimagined with a more contemporary aesthetic while preserving the spirit of the historic property. Several categories offer direct Atlantic views with balconies, terraces, or close beach access, while the suites provide a more residential dimension for extended stays.

The resort boasts Key West’s largest private beach, complemented by two renovated oceanfront pools, one of which is reserved for adults. Cabanas, water sports, kayaking, paddleboarding, sea excursions, beach yoga, and Spa al Maré reinforce its positioning as a true resort, a rarity on an island where many hotels are primarily urban.

Dining options notably revolve around Dorada, offering Baja-Med cuisine directly facing the ocean, the Canary Room Bar & Lounge, and Flagler’s Restaurant for breakfast. The private Toes in the Sand experience also allows for dining directly on the beach in a particularly romantic setting.
