The Setai, Miami Beach

Housed in the former Dempsey Vanderbilt Art Deco Hotel combined with a contemporary glass tower, The Setai achieves a particularly refined fusion of Miami Beach heritage and Asian aesthetics. The lobby bricks, for example, come from the ancient city of Shanghai, while dark woods, teak, and minimalist lines create an almost zen atmosphere in the heart of South Beach.

The 157 suites are distributed between the historic Art Deco building and the Ocean Suites tower. The latter feature large bay windows, fully equipped kitchens, and balconies facing the Atlantic. At the top, the spectacular Penthouse, nearly 930 m² (10,000 sq ft), occupies the entire 40th floor and boasts its own private rooftop pool.

The gastronomy revolves around Jaya, dedicated to South Asian cuisines, Japón for a contemporary Japanese approach, and Ocean Grill, located directly facing the ocean with Mediterranean and Italian flavors. The famous courtyard also hosts evenings, music, and performances in an atmosphere that is much more elegant than festive.

The resort features three infinity pools intentionally maintained at three different temperatures, including a lap pool and a family pool, complemented by a private beach with service. Valmont for The Spa at The Setai offers seven treatment rooms with sea or city views, including five couples’ suites, while a Finnish sauna, cold plunge, and 24-hour fitness center extend the wellness experience.
