Opened in 2022, it is the city\u2019s first Hyatt Place hotel. The property is directly connected to <strong>Marutamachi<\/strong> subway station on the Karasuma Line, and reaches Kyoto Station in around ten minutes. Nij\u014d Castle, the Imperial Palace and several shopping districts are also within walking distance or a short subway ride away.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hotel offers <strong>239 rooms, including three suites<\/strong>, all larger than 25 m\u00b2. Interiors favour clean lines, generous windows, natural tones and, in many categories, a lounge area with a sofa. Some rooms overlook an inner courtyard or garden, while Premium categories range from 35 to 36 m\u00b2. The 47 m\u00b2 suites feature a separate living room, two TVs, a refrigerator, a microwave and a kitchenette suited to longer stays.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Facilities are deliberately limited, but they effectively meet the needs of a leisure or business stay. The fitness centre, accessible <strong>24 hours a day<\/strong>, includes cardio machines, free weights, yoga mats and functional training equipment. The hotel has neither a spa nor a pool, but offers free Wi-Fi, comfortable communal areas, accessible rooms and a bar-boutique open day and night. A waste-reduction approach also limits disposable items and plastic bottles in the rooms.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dining focuses on <strong>The Kitchen<\/strong>, which serves a morning buffet of Western and Japanese dishes, breads, salads, fruit, fresh produce and curry prepared by the hotel. The <strong>Lobby Bar<\/strong>, open 24 hours a day, offers drinks, Kyoto-produced beers, wines, champagne and grab-and-go snacks to take back to the room or enjoy in the communal areas.
