Opened in October 2019, the hotel is integrated into the historic estate of <strong>Kyoyamato<\/strong>, a Japanese restaurant founded over a century ago. Its low-rise buildings follow the terrain and preserve the gardens, traditional structures, and views over the rooftops of Kyoto, including the famous <strong>Yasaka Pagoda<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The establishment features only <strong>70 rooms, including nine suites<\/strong>, allowing it to maintain a particularly calm and residential atmosphere despite its location in the heart of a busy area. The interiors highlight tamo wood, works by local artists, Zen gardens, and contemporary furniture with clean lines. Several rooms offer views of the historic district, while the <strong>Ninenzaka House<\/strong>, <strong>Higashiyama House<\/strong>, and <strong>Pagoda House<\/strong> categories offer more spacious areas and privileged panoramas of the city or the pagoda.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wellness center, located on the third floor, features a 24-hour fitness room, a private treatment suite, and an elegant <strong>Japanese bathhouse<\/strong>. This includes hot and cold vitality baths, a dry sauna, and a steam room, with separate areas for women and men.
