At the southern tip of Tulum’s hotel zone, Casa Malca unfolds between tropical jungle and white sand beach facing the Caribbean Sea. Transformed by collector Lio Malca, the former residence is today as much a hotel as a living gallery, where monumental sculptures, eclectic furnishings and contemporary works punctuate gardens, lounges and outdoor spaces.

The property features 71 suites, distributed between the main house and wings extending into the vegetation. Garden or ocean views, floor-to-ceiling windows, distinctive furnishings and works from Lio Malca’s private collection give each accommodation a strong personality. The Master Suites Beachfront favour the ocean, while the Family Village Suites and Townhouse Labyrinth Suites offer greater space and privacy.

Gastronomy also embraces creativity. Philosophy offers contemporary international cuisine facing the beach, Ambrosia explores Asian flavours, while Head of a Madman, named after a Basquiat work, focuses on seafood, grills and wood-fired pizzas.
