The Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid occupies one of the most emblematic buildings in the Spanish capital, on Plaza de la Lealtad. Inaugurated in 1910 at the initiative of King Alfonso XIII and designed in the spirit of hotelier César Ritz, it is located in the heart of the Golden Triangle of Art, opposite the Prado Museum and a few steps from Retiro Park. After a major restoration led by architect Rafael de La-Hoz, the hotel reopened in 2021 with interiors designed by the Parisian duo Gilles & Boissier. It offers 100 rooms and 53 suites, decorated in a classic contemporary residential style combining oak parquet flooring, refined fabrics, custom-made furniture, and stone and marble bathrooms. Several suites overlook the Prado, Plaza de la Lealtad, or the Neptune Fountain, while the Royal, Presidential, Mandarin, and Ritz suites occupy the building’s most prestigious spaces.

The The Beauty Concept wellness area is a true sanctuary in the center of Madrid. It includes private treatment rooms, a double suite for couples, a heated indoor pool under a luminous ceiling, a Vitality Pool, sensory showers, and a hammam. A Technogym-equipped fitness center remains accessible twenty-four hours a day, while facial and body treatments can be personalized according to each client’s needs.

Gastronomy is under the direction of chef Quique Dacosta. The Deessa restaurant, awarded two stars in the 2026 Michelin Guide, offers creative and gourmet cuisine.
