The Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella is a historic establishment on the Costa del Sol, first opened in 1962 and then completely transformed before its reopening under the Kimpton brand in February 2025. Located in the residential area of Los Monteros, approximately 500 meters from the Mediterranean, this resort combines the heritage of the former hotel with a more contemporary, relaxed, and colorful vision of Marbella Grand Luxe.

The hotel currently offers 195 rooms, including 67 suites, with several categories featuring terraces and views of the gardens, the pool, or the sea. The rooms were designed by Cristina Carulla Studio, while the common areas by El Equipo Creativo blend organic shapes, ceramics, terracotta tones, geometric patterns, and references to Andalusia’s Mediterranean heritage.

Facilities include two outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, the Maison Codage Paris Spa, a fitness center, and a Racket Club dedicated to tennis and padel. The Escondido rooftop features an infinity pool and Mediterranean views, while the La Cabane by Dolce & Gabbana beach club offers private cabanas and cuisine crafted by chef Dani García right by the beach.

Gastronomy is one of the establishment’s hallmarks. Michelin-starred chef José Carlos García oversees Jara, which focuses on Mediterranean and Andalusian products. The offering also includes Mexican flavors at Escondido Rooftop, cocktails and a musical atmosphere at Azul Lounge Bar, and the healthy, colorful cuisine of Rachel’s Eco Love. The traditional Kimpton Social Hour enhances the hotel’s convivial lifestyle atmosphere.
