The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor brings back to life the legendary Hotel Formentor, which opened in 1929 on one of Mallorca’s most spectacular peninsulas. Reopened under the Four Seasons brand in August 2024, the resort occupies a private 40-hectare estate, integrated into a much larger nature reserve in the north of the island. Restored gardens, coastal forest, a sandy beach, and a private jetty create a particularly preserved environment facing Pollença Bay.

The establishment offers 110 rooms and suites, including 79 rooms and 31 suites, all extended by a sea-facing terrace. Certain categories also feature a private heated plunge pool, a garden, or a large separate living space. The architecture was redesigned by Estudio Lamela, while the interiors by Gilles & Boissier combine wood, stone, natural fibers, bright tones, and references to early 20th-century seaside glamour.

The 600 m² spa includes seven treatment rooms, a vitality pool, a sauna, a hammam, sensory showers, a cold plunge, an ice fountain, and a relaxation room. The estate also features an adults-only pool, a family pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a tennis court, yoga spaces, and hiking trails. The Kids For All Seasons program, the teen center, water sports, and boat excursions complete a particularly extensive offering, while the LEED Gold certification highlights the project’s environmental commitment.

The dining options bring together several distinct experiences. Mel focuses on Mediterranean cuisine crafted around estate-grown and seasonal products, while Shima combines Japanese and Peruvian influences in a Nikkei setting. Quiosc offers casual dining by the pool, Llum i Sal highlights fish and seafood directly on the beach, and Cercle brings together wines, cocktails, and sharing plates on a panoramic terrace. The Crocant ice cream boutique, private vineyard experiences, and 24-hour room service complete the offering.
