Why choose this journey

To stay in a true Genevan institution, where history, views over Lake Geneva, and a highly personalized level of service take precedence over the standardized aesthetics of major international groups. Its three Michelin Keys, its historic suites, and its location directly facing the Jet d’Eau make it a particularly compelling address for a romantic or gastronomic stay, or a first discovery of Geneva.

Overlooking Lake Geneva and the Jet d’Eau, Beau-Rivage has occupied one of Geneva’s most prestigious addresses since 1865. Remaining independent and closely tied to the same family since its creation, this grand historic house preserves frescoes, majestic volumes, and classic décor while continuing its modernization.

The hotel has 52 rooms and 43 suites, all different, with floor areas ranging from around 30 to 190 m². The most sought-after categories open onto the lake and the Alps, while the signature suites—Sissi, Maharadja, Presidential, Imperial, or Royal—perpetuate the property’s very distinctive character.

Gastronomy remains one of Beau-Rivage’s signatures. At Rivage Café, Executive Chef Mathieu Croze offers contemporary, seasonal, refined French cuisine, from lunch through to the tasting menu. The renowned Le Chat-Botté, Michelin-starred in the 2025 selection, is currently closed for a complete renovation, with reopening announced for 2027.

The stay focuses above all on exceptionally personalized service, with Clefs d’Or concierges, a private limousine, fitness facilities, and tailor-made experiences in Geneva and around the lake. Prevention and wellness programs can also be arranged with the Health & Prevention Medical Center, while particularly attentive family hospitality completes the experience.
