The Banyan Tree Bangkok rises 61 storeys in the central Sathorn district, close to Lumphini Park and the new One Bangkok district. Formerly the Westin Banyan Tree, the property officially adopted the Banyan Tree brand in 2002 and has since developed the brand’s signature “urban sanctuary” spirit. Its upper floors offer sweeping panoramas over the capital, particularly spectacular at dusk.

The hotel has 312 rooms and suites, with entry-level categories that are particularly generous at around 48 m². Large picture windows look out over the skyline or Lumphini’s green spaces, while the Serenity Suites range from 67 to 143 m² depending on the layout. The Spa Sanctuary Suite reaches 118 m² and the Presidential Suite 204 m², with Club categories granting access to the private lounge on the 19th floor.

The Banyan Tree Spa offers a holistic approach inspired by Asian traditions, with Thai massages, aromatic rituals, herbal wraps and the signature Royal Banyan treatment. A 25-metre outdoor pool on the 21st floor lets you swim facing the city’s towers, while the 24/7 Health Club offers yoga, Pilates, Muay Thai, a sauna and a steam bath.

Dining is one of the property’s main draws. Saffron Grill reinterprets wood-fired Thai grilling, Bai Yun offers Cantonese cuisine and dim sum at altitude, while Vertigo TOO pairs international cuisine with panoramic views. The Apsara and Saffron cruises also offer dinner on the Chao Phraya. The famous Vertigo & Moon Bar, perched on the 61st floor, is currently listed as temporarily closed from 16 June for renovation and transformation.
