For its particularly compelling balance of location, views, and dining. The hotel is less leisure-oriented than a resort and does not have its own pool, but access to the facilities of the neighboring Hilton more than makes up for it. The presence of Kin Khao and the immediate proximity to Powell Street make it an excellent base for a city break, a first discovery of the city, or a business stay.

The Moscone Center, SFMOMA, Chinatown, and several shopping districts are easily reached on foot or by public transport.

The property offers 1,024 rooms and suites across 32 floors. Large bay-style or floor-to-ceiling windows open the accommodations onto the skyline and, in certain categories, the bay. The suites on the upper floors, including Bayview, Sunset, and Presidential, particularly showcase the urban panoramas.

Dining is a true highlight thanks to Kin Khao, dedicated to authentic Thai cuisine prepared with seasonal produce, curry pastes, and sauces made in-house. Cable 55, meanwhile, serves American cuisine with Californian influences for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, complemented by a bar and a Morning Market.

Fitness 55 on the third floor features cardio equipment and free weights, and guests can also access the gym at the neighboring Hilton Union Square. Above all, they benefit from access to its heated outdoor pool on the 16th floor, located just across the street. E-bikes are also available to explore the city.
